WASHINGTON (AP) — The US authorities said Tuesday that Croatia would soon be half of the worldwide locations whose folks can search recommendation from and not using a visa in a heed of closer economic and security ties.
The Relate Division and Division of Fatherland Safety said in a joint assertion that the European nation of about 4 million would be half of the program no later than Dec. 1.
It is the 40th country to be added to the visa waiver program.
Folk will be ready to reach support to the US for up to 90 days for tourism or replace and not using a visa. The worldwide locations in the program have to meet requirements connected to counterterrorism, rules enforcement, immigration enforcement, doc security, and border management.
Croatia’s entry into the program portions to “recognition of our worldwide locations’ shared economic and security pursuits,” DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said in announcing the designation.
