MANILA — Boracay will now require no longer fully vaccinated tourists to publish a detrimental RT-PCR take a look at results starting November 16, the Department of Tourism (DOT) said Friday.
“The DOT welcomes the announcement of Aklan Governor Florencio Miraflores on the decision to waive the RT-PCR take a look at for fully vaccinated tourists as a requirement to enter Boracay starting November 16,” it said.
The Aklan govt on November 12 confirmed that company would only must publish proof of vaccination with a QR code in lieu of the take a look at.
In a radio interview, Miraflores said tourists can also either publish a VaxCert secured through vaxcert.doh.gov.ph or a vaccine certificates issued by their respective native government unit.
